Mapping
The area is mapped and documented with infrastructure facilities and amenities along with population, area, socio-economic condition, education and health both qualitative and quantitative. TTRC provides its services on the request of NGOs, CBOs, various institutions and universities and goth elders at a low cost. Goth Division Mapping eases the land leasing process. The Goth elder requests TTRC for division mapping and documentation. The map supports the community in acquiring land title as well as provides the possibility of lobbying for effective area planning and estimation with local government. The documented maps support developmental work. TTRC is involved in contacting different NGOs, CBOs Group, social activists and influential people in Goths. Till date, map digitization of 163 settlements out of which 68 are goths, have been completed.
With the support of NED University team, survey mapping and documentation of 30 villages of UC Chauhar, Darsano Chinon village of Malir district was completed. Survey mapping and infrastructure documentation of 30 villages were completed, some corrective works were carried out during this reporting period. The survey and documentation was done at the request of the Government of Sindh. The documents aimed to put centuries-old villages on the map and provide them with land titles and infrastructure facilities.
